In addition to minimum 70 percent of the church windows being damaged, also bomb fragments flew into the church and here, rebounding against the walls, have broken and pushed down several icons. The drain-pipe on the eastern side was broken and fell down to the ground, and between the St. Marc’s and Russian churches lay scattered parts of metal sheets, metal, stones and bricks that the detonation brought here from the buildings of the RTS and «Dusko Radovic» theatre, says archpriest-stavrophore Cedomir Vuckovic of Belgrade.
Recalling that it is still not known how badly the roof was damaged, because this cannot be seen from the ground, head-priest Vuckovic says that also at first sight it can be seen that all the glasses on the St. Marc’s church domes are cracked, just the same as the window glasses of the Russian Church. This other church, with the building of the Representation of the Moscow Patriarchy in its yard, stands next behind the building of the «Dusko Radovic» theatre, so that the force of the explosion has also caused cracking of a girder in the church ceiling.
